Mediterranean Announces New Exploration Manager in Turkey

Vancouver, B.C., Mediterranean Resources Ltd. (TSX: MNR; Frankfurt: MHM1) ("Mediterranean" or the "Company") announced the departure of Ibrahim Guney from his role of General Manager, Exploration at the Company's Turkish subsidiary, Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

The role of exploration manager has been assumed by Hakan Guney, who has been a Geologist and Database Manager in the Company's Yusufeli project since 2007. He was appointed to Akdeniz Resources Madencilik from Dama Engineering in January 2009. His most recent position was as the Geologist and Database Manager on Dama Engineering in the Yusufeli project, where his duties included responsibility of managing project database, quality assurance and quality control of assay data, preparing of annual mining bureau reports, exploration, sampling and logging. Hakan holds a Geological Engineering degree from the Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey.
